Terms of service

These terms govern research and consultancy services provided by SS Investments & Properties Ltd (“we”, “us”) to you, our client. They apply from the moment we confirm an engagement in writing.

1. Services and scope

We provide property market research, purchase consultancy and related analysis (described on this site). Each engagement is defined by a written scope: deliverables, timetable and fee. Work outside the written scope is a new engagement. Our reports are prepared for the client named in the scope and may not be relied on by third parties.

2. Orders and confirmation

An engagement exists only when you accept our written scope and quote (by email). We may decline any engagement. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance.

3. Fees, payment and currency

Fees are quoted per engagement (price on application). The market report is a fixed-price deliverable; other stages are quoted according to scope. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are issued in euros (€) and are payable before the corresponding stage begins. Where a payment status is relevant to scheduling, we confirm receipt in writing before work resumes.

4. Delivery

Deliverables (reports, shortlists, models, checklists) are delivered electronically to the email on record, by the date in the scope or, if delayed by causes outside our control, as soon as reasonably possible with notice.

5. Cancellation, refunds and liability

You may cancel a stage before work on it begins for a full refund of that stage. Once work has begun, fees for work performed remain due; any prepayment for unperformed work is refunded. Our liability for any claim connected with an engagement is limited to the fee paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes of property transactions, which depend on many factors outside our research.

6. What our services are not

Our services are research and consultancy. We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, we do not provide regulated investment advice, we do not manage assets and we do not promise yields or price growth. Legal, surveying and tax matters are handled by licensed professionals; we introduce them openly but do not supervise their work.

7. Complaints

If anything in our work falls short, email support@ss-investments.services with the subject “Complaint”. We will acknowledge within 5 working days and respond substantively within 20 working days.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
